In middle of a widespread virus, Danny and Amanda, a biracial couple, have just gotten married and are driving through a remote area of Georgia, when they become the targets of backwoods racists. After escaping, Danny and Amanda are "rescued" by an elderly African-American couple, who have their own devious plans for the couple. Danny, a White male, has just married Amanda, an African-American female from a rich and prestigious family. After their wedding, Danny and Amanda begin a drive through Georgia, en route to an elegant resort. On their way, they stop in a small town, where they encounter hatred and racism. Fleeing the town, their vehicle breaks down on a desolate country road. Coming to their aid is a charming and elderly African-American couple, John and Maude. John and Maude advise the young couple that it's unsafe to stay on the road, as there are bands of racist backwoods "rednecks", who have a propensity for violence. Danny and Amanda accept John and Maude's assistance, with the assurance that John will drive the couple to the resort, the following morning. Upon arriving at John and Maude's house, the young couple enjoy a meal and become confident that they are in safe hands. Danny and Amanda then blackout, awakening in the cellar, where John is beginning to cut out Amanda's kidney, with it becoming apparent that John has done this before and is the reason that many people go missing in these backwoods, not the racists. The racists, unwilling to accept that Danny and Amanda have escaped their grasp, arrive at John and Maude's house, where they overcome the elderly couple e, taking Danny and Amanda prisoner. In a remote clearing, the racists begin their own games of torture, but Danny and Amanda are soon "rescued" by John. A battle between the racists and John begin, with the prize being Danny and Amanda.
