In "Paula's Party", Paula, an attractive 30-something, accepted a Toy Designer with the North Pole and took her two daughters away from the hustle of Los Angeles. After managing to foil an attempt by Santa Claus' wife to sell the North Pole, Paula realized her lifelong dream of marrying Santa Claus. In "Paula's Predicament", Paula, expecting a baby, again foiled an attempt by Santa Claus' former wife, Sarah, to destroy Christmas. Now, two years later, the Holiday Syndicate, headed by the Easter Bunny and jointly ruled by the other holidays, has fired Santa Claus, sent the elves and reindeer to a museum, and kicked Santa Claus and Paula out of the North Pole, advising that Christmas is being cancelled, in order to give more attention to the other holidays (specifically Easter, so that the Easter Bunny can reign supreme). Now, Paula must put aside her loving persona and put on the cloak of a hitman, in order to get rid of the Easter Bunny and bring back Christmas.
