When an attorney in Mimbres, New Mexico, is indicted and charged with the murder of a Judge, investigative reporter Linda Lawson of the San Diego Times enlists Matt Lucas, an experienced attorney turned investigator, to collaborate with the local Public Defender. He discovers that a banker and the Matranga Cartel may be connected.
