In this book Robert Stone reveals from the scripture that the ministry of the Church should not be concerned with membership numbers but rather with a process referred to as the "formation of Christ within its members." (Galatians 4:19) Like Paul's vision for the church, congregations should consist of dedicated believers; who all function and carry weight in the church; working together toward the commission and vision of the Kingdom of God. Sons of God in these churches must believe in exhibiting the characteristics of "servant sonship." They should lead by example, never asking others to do what they don't do or have not done themselves. The focus of such sons should be to take care of people, teach them, train them, equip them, challenge them, prepare them and send them out to do the work of the ministry. This includes the development of the five-fold ministry gifts in this type of church mentality, God will be able to prepare His people spiritually, mentally and physically so that they might go into all the world and "make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19) This "making of disciples" is philosophically connected to the reception of the Spirit of adoption in Romans 8:15-23. And this philosophy is directly connected to the pattern Jesus used in the development of His disciples as seen in the gospels.
