Vol. V is the companion book to Troop 11's 100-year history, published in 1921 "General History: Boy Scout Troop 11, Houston, TX, 1914 to 2020." Source documents used to write the 1921 history book are in Special Collection RGF-36 at the Houston History Research Center, but placing them here will make them more accessible. Mostly newspaper articles but Includes: 1) personal letter from LeRoy Sims describing how the troop kicked the Prince of Wales out of their camp kitchen at the 1929 World Jamboree, 2) letters from Walt Hearn about his time in Troop 11 in the 1930s, 3) Logbook of Troop 11's 1954 trip to Philmont, 4) Robert A. J. "Bob" Dawson's 1963 Troop 11 History in its entirety, written for Bill Gribble Day, 5) Troop 11 rosters for 1918 to 1927. Also source documents found after the 1921 Troop 11 History was published. 232 pages with 793 photos, illustrations or images.
