あらすじ
'Pharaoh's Dream' tells the story of Thutmose, a man who became a pharaoh by unconventional means. Despite being an illegitimate son of Amenhotep II, Thutmose lived a privileged life as a member of the royal family. However, his upbringing in Memphis, far from the intellectuals of Thebes, kept him away from the politics and intrigues of the time. To secure his position as pharaoh when his father died, Thutmose devised a clever trick that only a gullible people could believe. During a hunting trip near the Sphinx, he fell asleep at the base of the monument and dreamt of talking to the god Ra, who promised him the throne if he cleared the sand from the Sphinx.
