La Reina del Sur is a Spanish-language TV series in light of the novel of a similar name by Spanish creator Arturo Pérez-Reverte. The series debuted on the Spanish organization Antena 3 in 2011 and later broadcasted on the American organization USA Organization. The show centers around the existence of Teresa Mendoza, a young lady from Mexico who ascends to become one of the most impressive drug masters on the planet. Throughout the series, Teresa faces various difficulties and deterrents as she explores the perilous universe of drug dealing and battles to keep up with her power and position.
