The Curse of the Last Mirror

Following her grandmother's death in the fog-shrouded village of Havenwood, Elara inherits the cursed Last Mirror. Legends say it shows not a reflection but a feared inner truth, and it slowly steals the soul of its owner. Hoping to break an ancestral curse she witnesses in its visions, Elara performs a ritual, but instead of freeing a trapped spirit, she unleashes a far greater threat: the mirror's sentient, malevolent reflection, which begins a terrifying psychological possession of her. Losing the battle for her own mind, Elara discovers the entity cannot be destroyed. In a final, desperate act of self-sacrifice, she performs a counter-ritual, binding not the monster, but her own soul into a silver locket. She becomes an eternal warden, trapping the entity with her and leaving her body lifeless, but in doing so, she breaks the curse and brings sunlight back to Havenwood for the first time in memory.
