Army Daze

Army Daze is an entertaining collection of one zany soldier's atypical experiences during his two years as a draftee in the US Army. Stationed in Germany from 1957-1959, author Ron Green wrote this book "to get even with the army ... for giving me two of the best years of my life." But it wasn't luck or charm or timing that inspired Green's lifelong allegiance to the American flag and all it represents; it was the US Army and Green's refreshing perspective on his experiences as a soldier. In effect, Green has done more for positively affecting American's attitude toward the army, the draft and the military overall than any government issued literature ever could.
