Brandon Hoffner is a forty-something ex-baseball star and entrepreneur. He awakens from cryo-sleep to discover the world has suffered a nuclear holocaust, seemingly wiping out all human life on Earth. With his new dog Beau, Hoffner sails the world, seeking other possible survivors, hoping at best to find someone he can continue the human race with.
