Daniel, who lives in the land of Blue, makes a startling discovery: On the other side of a mysterious gray border lies a land that's filled with people who are not blue at all. It's the world full of Red, and Daniel can't decide which is more beautiful. After crossing into this foreign land, Daniel realizes that - color aside - the people on the Red side of the border are just like the people from the Blue Determined to discover more, Daniel continues his wandering into the lands of different colors. As he learns more, each color he visits becomes a part of him, and he begins to change. But Daniel is still sad; he wishes that all people of all colors could realize that they're more alike than they know. Visited by a wise brown bird, Daniel is given the opportunity to see colors from a different perspective. Soon, he realizes that there's no difference between colors at all - they all make up the color White Join Daniel on his journey through the land of the colors, and help your child discover that the small differences between us, such as borders or color, are not what matters, because we are all the same inside.
