Once upon a time bees were flightless. Then one day a bee was born with wings. When she grew up she was crowned the first queen of the bees. But she was a bad queen who ruled the hive through fear. She was also greedy and in increasing her wealth she destroyed the environment that the bees depended on to sustain their lives. This is a multi layered poem exploring the problems faced by humans today.
