Ride or Die follows the violent, chaotic, and deeply personal confession of Donovan Jones, a career criminal whose life spirals through addiction, toxic love, betrayal, and bloodshed. Donovan recounts his turbulent relationship with Bonnie-his partner in crime-whose tragic death pushes him into a storm of rage, guilt, and vengeance. As he drifts deeper into crime, he becomes entangled with Jasmine, a woman carrying her own scars, and together they plunge into robberies, street violence, and a doomed attempt to escape their pasts. Donovan's loyalty to friends and lovers twists into deadly consequences, including the betrayal and murder of Orlando, a man who trusted him like a brother. Haunted by paranoia, police chases, and the ever-present threat of capture, Donovan tries to outrun the wreckage of his choices. Ultimately, his world collapses in a hail of gunfire and desperation, forcing him to confront the weight of his sins from a hospital bed. Through this confessional narrative, he begs the reader to decide whether he is an irredeemable monster-or simply a broken product of the life he was born into.
