Nine Lives, Infinite Memories

あらすじ
In a quiet town where the cemetery lies just beyond the edge of memory and routine, an old orange and white cat appears every morning to sit at the same lonely grave. No one knows where he comes from or why he returns so faithfully. The gravestone belongs to Joseph Banks-a man who died alone, remembered by few. Carol, the cemetery caretaker, is the first to notice the cat's daily vigil. At first, she assumes he's just another stray. But there's something different about him: a sense of purpose, a flicker of sorrow in his golden eyes. She begins leaving out food and watching from a distance. The cat never eats until he's finished his silent visit to the grave. What Carol doesn't know is that this cat carries pieces of a former life-his former life. He was once Joseph Banks, a quiet, private man burdened by regret and solitude. Now, in feline form, he's drawn back to the final resting place of the person he once was, haunted by fragments of memory and emotions he cannot explain. As the cat's visits continue, he crosses paths with Zeke, a grieving young man who's struggling with the death of his father. The cat's presence becomes a strange comfort to the boy, an unspoken companion who seems to understand his pain. Together with Joseph's sister Sophie and the cat, Zeke begins to piece together the mysterious life of Joseph Banks.
