This book is a translation of an extract from Jawahir al-Bihar fi Fada'il al-Nabi al-Mukhtar ﷺ by al-Shaykh Yusuf ibn Isma'il al-Nabhani on the virtues and specialties of the Chosen Prophet ﷺ based on the writing of al-Imam Shihab al-Din al-Qastallani in his book, al-Mawahib al-Ladunniyah – with foreword by Dr. Muhammad Mubarak Habib Mohamed. This book embarks on a journey to uncover the virtues and specialties of the Prophet ﷺ from pre-eternity to eternity, beginning with the sacred creation of al-Haqiqah al-Muhammadiyah, or the Muhammadan Reality, from which Allah ﷻ created the kingdom of the skies and the earth. The central theme of this book thereafter explores the unique specialties of the Chosen Prophet ﷺ in chronological order; starting from the beginning of his creation and the beginning of his Prophethood even before Adam the father of mankind was brought to life, and concluding with his eternal virtues and honours in Paradise. Other major scopes in this book are the specialties of the Muhammadan Ummah, evidence of his Prophethood ﷺ, Quranic verses about his great status, the obligation to love him and follow his Sunnah, and his superiority in the hereafter. All in all, this book serves as a concise yet comprehensive literary work on the perfections of the Prophet ﷺ through the lens of al-Imam al-Qastallani, and offers a deeper insight into his virtues and specialties ﷺ as compared to previous translation works published by Syaafi Publications.
