The year is 1923. Andrew Irvine is 21 years old and studies engineering at Oxford, when his life takes a drastic turn: He is invited to join the second British Mount Everest expedition. An opportunity that cannot be passed up. Andrew meets the expedition team and quickly becomes friends with George Mallory, an experienced mountaineer. The group begins their journey from London to the highest mountain on earth. Andrew and George sit together in the tent of Camp IV. Previously two attempts had been made: both unsuccessful. Now the two are about to set off for the final attempt. Will they be able to reach the top of the world?
