This book is a story about an ophthalmologist who marries a mean attorney. They have problems during their marriage and she heartlessly texts him that she wants a divorce. How he reacts to this and how he eventually becomes a single father raising his children makes an interesting story. He falls for the cute divorced next door neighbor but then his ex-wife needs him to get her through a difficult situation. His ex-wife, as a result, falls in love with him all over again and he has to deal with that and decide if he will start a new life with her or pursue the "girl next door."
