Captain Dustin Penner who is in his early-30s, crashes his helicopter by accident during a military training exercise for the Oklahoma National Guard and kills his crew. A year later, slowly putting his life back together, Dustin's former commanding officer seeks him out to recruit him as a corporate liaison to the military's new special project: a full-sized unmanned aerial combat system "Zeus' Angel." A machine that will test human pilot limitations. When the machine malfunctions and begins targeting civilians on U.S. soil, Dustin is forced to destroy it. Through acceptance of responsibility, facing himself, and learning to live with the past, Dustin will push his limits as a pilot beyond anything he could ever imagine.
