Remember Dr. Strange, the groovy Master of Mystic Arts? With his lover, the slave-princess Clea; his mentor the Ancient One; his loyal servant Wong; his archenemies Baron Mordo, Nightmare, and the Dread Dormammu, the Sorcerer Supreme flourished in Marvel Comics during the sixties and seventies, and made a comeback in the nineties. Well, these characters ain't them, folks. THE STRANGELOVE CHRONICLES are a rude, crude, lewd, scabrous, offensive, adolescent and thoroughly lowbrow lampoon (with an emphasis on the 'poon') of the Marvel series. They're also side-splittingly funny. Here's what you'll find in this volume: Cleavage narrates her own story when demonic hookers prowl the city. Baron Morbid falls in love - and yes, it's just as creepy as you'd think, since it's a zombie chick . . . A haunted vagina challenges Doc's - er - fortitude. (Dare I call it Charles Fortitude?) In a story guaranteed to offend feminists (and anyone with even an ounce of taste), a coven of PMS witches gives Doc a hell of a hard time. Doc goes to a science fiction convention - where, sadly, he blends right in. Warring covens and the sweet and obedient young wife who suddenly acts like she's been possessed keep the Mystic Master busy sorting out the real villains from the costume cavalcade. A returning villainess gives Doc a villainous time. The selfsame Returning Villainess attacks a midnight cult movie in her bid for world domination. BONUS: THE STRANGELOVE FRAGMENTS! The stories that never were! (And a good thing, too.) CONTAINS COARSE SEXUAL HUMOR. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN
