Kara Tameson and her family have found their dream home: a new, two-story French country house on a wooded lot in idyllic Gracie Town--it's perfect.But now that they've moved in, it doesn't seem so perfect.At first, they're small things: Kara's calling four-year-old, Lilah, by someone else's name, the playroom door won't stay shut, mysterious white scarves are tied to trees...When Kara's husband finds a statue on the property, Lilah is instantly attached to the creepy "dolly." Soon after, Kara's dreams turn bizarre and she begins to wonder if she's truly seeing strangers roaming through the woods...Her young son is seeing things too, but he's not telling anybody.Kara questions what's real and what's not; is it all in her mind or does someone (or something) mean her family harm? Are they the object of a cruel prank, or are they truly being haunted (hunted)? Will they have to abandon their dream home for the sake of their safety and sanity?
