Five year old, Christina is getting anxious for Halloween. Her family decorates for fall and spends family time going on hayrides, visiting pumpkin patches, hosting a haunted trail hike on their country property, and watching old black and white scary movies. Christina and Derek go on imaginative adventures and play in the woods around their house. Derek invents imaginary villains like the Lord of the rats for them to battle. They even create allies to help them free the forest of the villain. The overactive imaginations and overdose of sugar from the spoils of trick or treating can cause some vivid dreams!
