Using Baudrillard's "Telemorphosis" as ready-made and template, MacCormack confronts the implications of nullity, falsehood, and spectacle in our society. Having been written in 2001, "Telemorphosis" was a little too ahead of its time to see its predictions come true during Baudrillard's lifetime. By incorporating more current examples, as well as extrapolating on ideas which have grown since its publication, MacCormack has not only updated this vital work, but has written the story of our specie's spiral into falsehood.
