"My intent here is to neither convince, convert, condemn, or warn of possible damnation for lack of belief or practice. My only hope is that sharing my journey with others will provoke deeper thought, practice, and discussion with others and with ourselves. I'm of the belief that collective and individual growth are interdependent and necessary for our survival."Too many of us navigate our lives based on fear and expectations - be it our own or that of others. We make choices and choose sides under the influence of familiarity and ease of acceptance, not realizing how far we're removing ourselves from center in the process. Center being the Divine, by whatever name you choose to call him or her. We allow ourselves to be distracted by things that are unimportant, not being aware that regardless of the name, the roots in the foundation all come from the same tree. In this book, reflecting on what the author considers to be his own divine experiences, he providing a guideline, and information that anyone can use to reflect on their own life, examine their path, and establish a relationship with their Creator; a relationship that transcends names, labels, and religion. For some, this will be an introduction. But it's also the author's wish that believers and non-believers alike will come away looking at things with a slightly more open perspective and clarity about making proper use of whatever time we have left in our present forms.
