In Panama, two young English men took a canal cruise that would change their lives dramatically. Having met two Latino girls on board the vessel, it started a series of events that culminated in murders, drug trafficking and corruption. Filipe, a young man from Newcastle upon Tyne and Josh from Alderley Edge knew nothing of the eventualities of this unfortunate meeting. An investigation was started in Newcastle and Acting inspector Steve Bond and members of the Newcastle Major Crime Team were allocated the crime. The trail leads to Aruba, Venezuela, Colombia, USA, Panama and back to London. There is violence, and sexual offences described, which would be expected and not uncommon in the organised crime world. The relevant police organisations link in unison to combat this major threat. No one said it would be easy.
