The desert can be a harsh, unforgiving place that takes no prisoners. Similarly during the lockdown period there was a unique harshness that included barren spells as many people felt detachment on a daily basis and felt alone, overlooked or even abandoned. After a while things began to change as some restrictions were gradually lifted after numerous updates that included speeches from the government and we entered a period where we were allowed a venture without an adventure.Find out how this venturing led to drama, tension and a measure of relief from the lingering lockdown conditions as it brought out the best and worst in people. Some were behaving while others were raving despite the two metre rule that had been in place in order to impose a strict social distancing around the globe. Amidst the distress and uncertainty there was an endless struggle to return to normality that was a breeding ground for conflict, chaos and contradiction. Despite all of this physical and emotional turbulence the book does reach a successful conclusion.
