He is also the longest-reigning ROH World champion in the company's history. Jay was also known for his versatility as a wrestler, he was able to adapt to different styles of wrestling and had success in singles and tag team competitions. He also competed in other promotions such as WWE, NJPW, and PWG, and was able to showcase his talents on a global scale.
