Many Americans are not aware that they are able to travel to Cuba. For the people that are aware and take the opportunity to travel to this unique and beautiful country, these people are rewarded with memories of great adventures, friendly people, beautiful sites, and unforgettable stories. For one American man, myself, a trip to Cuba was a life changing experience. As a college educated engineer working for a large American corporation, I had it all. Family, house, cars, a great job. But like many Americans, I was overworked, stressed, and didn't enjoy life. The American dream was not supposed to feel like this. When I arrived in Havana, Cuba and saw the people smiling and dancing in the street, I immediately questioned my life. These were people that were supposed to be poor, have very little in life with no jobs and no opportunity. Why were the people of Havana so happy in life with so little, but I was unhappy in the United States with everything? I would have Seven Nights in Havana to find the answer, with three ladies named Laura guiding my way.
