Sacred & Profane

Hello, Sinner. First off, congratulations. You've made a deeply questionable life choice by picking up Sacred & Profane. Which, frankly, makes you my kind of person. Now, if you're here because you heard whispers of blindfolds and bondage, confessions and consequences, and the kind of devotional acts that don't (always) involve temples but absolutely require screaming someone's name into the Void... welcome. A few things you should know before we begin: These stories exist in the messy, passionate, and occasionally unhinged corners of The Inbetween Archives, specifically following Conditional Release, Book 2 in the series. But don't panic. I'll catch you up on what matters. The rest is better felt than understood. The trio at the heart of this disaster Wraith (Ash): Our glorious, terrifying captain. Has a stare sharp enough to cut steel and a bedroom presence that could restart dying stars. Kael: Our reformed golden boy. Military precision, self-sacrificing tendencies, and apparently the patience of a saint when it comes to edging. Me (Shade/Zane): Cult leader, chaos goblin, Void-touched, professional instigator. I flirt like I breathe and ruin lives with a smile. The smut Oh yes, it's here. It's the slow burn from the main series turned raging inferno. Power dynamics and emotional wreckage served with a side of religious symbolism and post-traumatic tenderness. It's about the ache and the healing, the hunger and the safety, the sacred and-well. You get it. You don't need to have read Books 1 and 2 (Hard Parole and Conditional Release) to enjoy what's inside. But if you find yourself craving the stories and the whispered confessions, I highly recommend going back. The emotional payoff? Chef's kiss. Until then, turn the page. But don't say I didn't warn you. With love, lube, and very little restraint, Shade (Prophet, Archivist, Emotional Liability)
