Hello and Goodbye, Sonoran Desert Friends is a story about love and the life of an aging pet. Lucy the dog finds herself surrounded by her friends in the desert as well as her loving family, including Dillon, Ollie, and Gracie the family dogs, as she slowly begins her last days. The book helps children deal with the loss of a beloved pet and teaches them ways to cope with saying goodbye. This book was written for the author's dog, Dillon, who recently made his trip across the rainbow bridge.
