The third novel in the second Courtney trilogy once more features Centaine, Shasa and Manfred, but the central conflict has changed. For it now includes the figure of Moses Gama whose message of militant black nationalism threatens the lifestyle and stability of both Shasa and Manfred, in fact of all white South African society.
