AFTON PRESS and CALUMET EDITIONS, two separate companies operating out of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul and sharing office space, unite their unique skills to release this anthology of writings about the occupation of Minnesota by ICE officers and the tragedies that are unfolding as a result of that occupation. We asked Minnesotans, particularly poets, to compose and donate short, objective pieces of work tailored specifically to this subject. This writing, composed within the crucible of the greatest threat to our freedom, may be the most important work ever in the pursuit of preserving democracy in the United States of America.
