Women have been subjugated to the role of pleasing men since our first parents rebelled. That rebellion took the form of first, desiring that which was not theirs. Then, Adam who had the responsibility of caring for, teaching and instructing his wife failed at his assigned role because of misplaced infatuation, followed Eve blindly into complete imperfection and death. Their mold for us was formed and we follow their pattern.
