"Patha Sangini" is second poetry book of Odia poet Subhransu Mohapatra. The book is a collection of romantic poems which details the journey of the poet from a period of "waiting" where he was longing for a life partner to a phase of "Discovery" where he started to attach his romantic feelings to specific individuals. Then the book takes the readers to a phase of "inspiration" where the poet is driven by the eternal sweetness of being in love and finally to a phase of "Separation" where he is torn with the memory of his lover as he is forced to be away from her from time to time.After the success of the original Odia version, poet has brought this book in Hindi to allow non-Odia readers to get exposed to current Odia poetry. Talented dual language poet Banashree Mohapatra has done a fantastic work of translating this book to the new language while keeping the spirit of the poems alive. Being a poet herself, she has been sensitive to the inner feelings of the poet and placed herself right at the soul of the poet while recreating in Hindi.
