Rody, nicknamed Chicken Man, is in charge of the chicken house on the kibbutz where he lives in Israel. He makes the job seem so delightful that everyone wants a chance to work with the brood. Rody, in turn, is transferred to different positions. Meanwhile the chickens cleverly arrange for Rody to get his job back. The 1992 National Jewish Book Award winner. Full color.
