Two Converging Views / A Fish Went Through The Moon A Fish Went Through The Moon is a collection of poetic compositions, Haiku style or close to such form of Japanese tradition, "Glass Instants", performed by Visual poet Gustavo Vega from Spain. It is at the same time, a meeting, collaboration, cooperation... synthesis of languages and scripts, East and West. First these poems were translated into English by the poet and professor at the University of California, Carlota Caulfield.When a Japanese writer and calligraphist, Yuuka Nakamura, saw haiku composed by Vega, she proposed to herself to transfer them to the sensibility, her own sensibility, and Japanese idiosyncrasy. She thought that some features of Westerness could be translated into Japanese classicism without affecting its meaning. Thus was achieved the two encounter of two views, Japanese and Spanish and Western converging.
