"In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." - Robert Frost It Goes On is a family fiction piece involving three once-close grown siblings – Annabel, Jackson, and Maggie – who have grown apart after having lost both their parents within a short amount of time. Nearly a year passes before they come together again believing they are going to finalize their parents' affairs. Instead, they find the first letter from their beloved mom. The letter provides comfort, advice and a plan: Annabel, Jackson and Maggie are to take a one-month sabbatical from their lives and go on a round-the-world whirlwind trip that their mother and father planned and paid for just before their deaths. Each sibling has a different reaction to the proposal. Spirited and adventurous Annabel is ready to pack her bags and leave out immediately. Brilliant, athletic and jocular Jackson does what he normally does: runs. Beautiful, soulful, new-mother Maggie buries herself even deeper inside her "cave" of depression. Months later, however, a series of events leads to the reunion of the trio and the journey begins. Along the way, the siblings scatter the ashes of their dearly-departed parents, find clues to their next destinations, rebuild bonds with one another that they had as children and find peace, hope and the ability to heal.
