Being a teenager is hard work, especially when you are living your life to everyone else's standards. Paige lives for the dreams of her parents; being head cheerleader, writer for the school paper, homecoming queen, participant in the big sister program, girlfriend of the highschool quarterback and is on the right track to attend Standford University the following year. According to anyone's standards Paige has it all, that is until one fateful night takes all of that away from her. While on the lake shore annoyed with her drunken boyfriend Paige accidentally freezes him. As her world seemingly falls apart at this alien ability she suddenly has, Paige runs to the solice of a nearby catholic church. Here she finds the alluring, olive skinned Gio. But Gio is apart of the new world undiscovered yet to Paige and may prove to be more dangerous with his own powers hidden away under his perfect form.
