The most talked about musical of the turn of last century was a British import called Florodora. It had all the favorite elements that an Edwardian audience came to expect in their musical comedies-exotic settings and characters, music-hall type songs, corny repartee, and most importantly, stunning chorus girls. Florodora had it all including the legendary Florodora Sextet. Florodora was one of the most popular musicals of the first decades of the 20th Century. Its first New York run was over 550 performances and it continued to tour for decades. Theatre Arts Press is proud to present the first published libretto of this fabled musical.
