THE DECEIVERSThis book describes the various preventive and defensive techniques that readers can use to protect their computers from hackers' attacks, and to limit the damage that result from their deplorable character. Hackers are the enemy of the People. They acquire their hacking skills by using our computers as their easy-access laboratories to learn and practice how, what, and when to steal from us - all at our expense. They deceive us daily with their persuasive pop-up windows. They intrude into our privacy, steal and sell our data, such as credit card number, social security number, bank account number, and many others too numerous to mention; and they sell them all to gang members and criminals at wholesale prices. "Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'" 4 "You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. Genesis 3:1-4 NIV.When I was in college several years ago, more than half of the students in my "Networking" class were young female students. I later discovered that most of these female students were learning to become hackers. I can understand why these women wanted to become hackers because they can do their hacking job at home while raising their children. They can cook their meals, take them to and from school, and do the laundry while getting paid for hacking. What better job can any woman wants? Recall the Chinese woman (hacker) who was recently apprehended at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's resort area? She has in her possession cellphones, laptop, flash-drives with malware, etc. Those are the tools that hackers use. And when the Court found them guilty of spying, they'll ask the judge for a reduced sentence, because they claimed that they have a baby at home; and the judge gives them a 2-months' probation. I heard that in some other countries they will be placed in a locked cage in a zoo for a year as their sentence for spying; otherwise, it has no deterrent effect. In North Korea and China, the sentence handed down for various crimes are nothing less than hard labor growing vegetables and raising cattle. That's how their system rehabilitates its prisoners. In America, we have nothing that can effectively rehabilitate our prisoners. We merely incarcerate them, feed them beef, chicken, and salads. And we do their laundry too. We call this U.S. prison reform.
