Jacob didn't ask for any of this. He never wanted to be anything more than what he already was. Jacob was a normal high school student, he had a girlfriend, liked to party, and thought his teen years would go on forever. If there was one thing that set him apart, it was that Jake loved to fight. It's not that he liked causing trouble or starting fights. He preffered to be friendly and nice, so most people wouldn't want to fight him in the first place, but when a fight did happen he enjoyed them none the less. Everything changed after graduation, when a mysterious animal starts killing people. Getting a job at a pharmaceutical company turned out to be much more than Jake bargained for when he wakes up to find his girl gone, his friends moved on, and his life changed forever. The killings increase and become even more mysterious.Jake didn't ask for any of this, to be more than human or to be chased by a monster. He didn't ask for all of this death and misfortune to follow him around. All that he wanted was to get a job so that he could buy a car and a ring so that he could propose to his girlfriend, and instead he turned his life into a science-fiction horror story, and now he was worried about becoming one of the monsters himself. Jacob was scared, and as his nightmares come to life he must learn to embrace how he has changed within. He comes to realize that taking those pills changed not only his own fate, but the fate of the world. All that he wants is to have a normal life, but in order to be reunited with Kate and in order to save humanity itself, he may have to become the fiercest monster of all.
