To Love a Stranger: Book In 1953 an old spy relates his untold story to a young boy. In 2012, the boy relates their colourful lives to his grandson -lies, treason and death flourish. In 1953, during Queen Elizabeth's coronation party a blind soldier cathartically recounts his secret life to a 10 year old boy. In 2011 during another royal wedding, the boy now on last finals decides to unload their mutual life experiences to his only grandson. Both stories run a parallel course; treason, undercover death defying missions, financial corruption, with illegitimate heirs and broken romances running rife through generations of both families. As their stories unfold the closeness of their families develops, both searching the love of lost strangers.
