In an unpredictable atmosphere the reader is entrapped magnetically as Veronica, a young girl, becomes victim of the perverse seduction of Father Ian, her spiritual guide, who under the guise of "purity and salvation of the soul" and in the name of God, with lasciviousness and hypocrisy tries to seduce her. Her loveless mother - with the pretext of helping Veronica - entrusts her to his care. Thus Veronica is left in an impossible situation where she must figure a way to escape both of them.
