Princess Adventure is on an incredible vacation with her family in the Great Sand Dunes, where the desert meets the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. She goes hiking in the sand dunes on a day that starts out cool but becomes hot quickly. As the sun heats up the sand, Princess Adventure feels worse and worse. Her heat hurts and her tummy turns summersaults. She learns to follow her Mama's advice to drink water when outside. Many children find it difficult to take breaks when playing and drink water or eat well. Their games are wonderfully engrossing and take up all of their attention.
