The biographical research did show that characteristics had their primary origins in the early years of the subject's development, but it did not explain why some persons having similar experiences did not develop the leadership qualities. If these qualifies were present in our subject we discovered that they were being further developed, enhanced and refined throughout the life of our subject. Perhaps heredity endows some individuals with the propensity to develop the characteristics and some do not have this endowment. This points to a possible need for a genetic genome study.
