In the aftermath of chaos runes that have receded the nations into a semi-apocalyptic world, Ariel is astonished to find her supposed long-dead all-powerful husband is actually still alive. But her joy is soon turned to sorrow when after thousands of years apart he informs her that he will destroy everyone she loves and thereby cause her pain as revenge for an action she took against him many years ago. But this is the least of her problems as an organization called the Vampire Council have singled her out for extermination, deeming her too dangerous to be allowed to roam free among humans despite her virtuous nature. With their futuristic laser weapons and extensive numbers, they are a formidable force to be reckoned with. But worse yet, among all of this turmoil, Ariel's arch nemesis Rosetti is pining for world domination once more. Will she be able to stop Rosetti from attaining the Power Source she seeks and becoming the undisputed ruler of the world?
