Red Snow

Red Snow centers on the cycle of civilizations. It tells the story of Paris, an alien survivor who witnesses his home planet destroyed by "red snow"-a symbol of ruin-due to uncontrolled desires and reckless use of technology. Fleeing to Earth, he watches humanity repeat the same mistakes: Professor Marshall discovers evidence in a desert ruin that an ancient civilization perished in nuclear war, with charred bodies and nuclear debris confirming the cycle of catastrophe. In the royal court, a dwarfish emperor clings to false authority through his dragon robe; the prime minister manipulates power via a crystal orb; the crown prince reveals the emptiness of power inheritance. At the bottom of society, the laborer Shadan endures systemic oppression with numbness, while Tie Mian Kuangxin, wielding destructive nuclear bombs, highlights the risk of technological 失控. Artistically, its polyphonic narrative (weaving perspectives of the alien witness, researcher, power holders, and the underclass) and temporal-spatial folding break linear historical views. Symbols like "red snow" (a warning of crisis) and "dragon robe" (deconstructing the sanctity of power) form a rich symbolic system. Its three-dimensional character gallery dissects the flaws of civilization. Blending sci-fi trappings with philosophical depth, it explores the core of civilizational redemption.
