1 Timothy 2:14 NIV - "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. But women will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety - is a reference to God's warning to Eve (and the rest of mankind) in Genesis 3:16, that it is the power of intentions that drives both righteousness and brings life and love, and wickedness, and brings death and destruction. That we become fruitful when our intentions are good, and wicked, when our intentions are evil! And Jesus Christ declared in the gospels that it is intentions that convicts human beings of sins, because intentions compel the originator to perpetrate their evil intention as soon as they have the opportunity to carry it out - Matthew 5:27-30 NIV - "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."
