When every Irish dancing class in town is full, Emma must find her own way to jig! Emma sits by the television, completely bewitched. The Irish dancers move like waves on a beach, their feet lightning-fast. Emma knows, right then and there, that she wants to be one too. But Mummy has bad news: every single Irish dancing class is full. Emma's legs are twitching with excitement, though, and she isn't the type to give up. If she can't go to a class, she'll just have to bring the class to her! Soon, her bedroom is a secret studio filled with a "thundering herd" of best friends, giggles, and hard practice. They are ready to wow the town. But when a massive winter snowstorm cancels their big performance on the very day of the show, Emma is heartbroken.
