This is the story of two Hawaiian vacationers who found themselves in midst of unspeakable devastation on Maui in August 2023 when deadly wildfires destroyed much of the west side of the island. This book is dedicated to the courageous people of Lahaina who will rebuild their iconic and historic town that lies in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
