This constitutes the inaugural English translation of Ikki Kita's autobiography. Following a series of interrogations conducted by the Military Police, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, prosecutors, and the judges of the Tokyo Army "Special" Secret Court Martial, Ikki Kita (1883-1937) completed his unofficial autobiography. This work served as a response to these interrogations. Moreover, the book incorporates Ikki Kita's statements from his period of incarceration in 1936 and 1937. Consequently, the title "An Informal Autobiography of Ikki Kita" would have been more appropriate.
